Our Animal Haus mission is to provide quality, affordable pet care services as well as contribute to the rescue of both animals in high-kill shelters and within our community who end up in unfortunate situations due to abuse, neglect, homelessness, and owner surrender. What began as a non-profit quickly transitioned to a concept of in-house services-funded rescue. Because of our wonderful clients, volunteers, donators, fully commited staff, and local animal lovers, Animal Haus has been able to help over 700 pets since its establishment in 2016.
ANIMAL HAUS COPYRIGHT 2022

With a 70-pet-capacity made possible due to two stand-alone kennels, Animal Haus is responsible for the medical care of the animals within our facility. This includes examination by a veterinarian and having health needs met, vaccinations, microchipping, and sterilization. Following a full medical checkup, animals are then transported to our kennel or directly to foster homes. Fosters are a part of a network of people who have applied and successfully passed the qualifications of the organization's guidelines to care for the animals we rescue. Fosters are willing to volunteer their time and open their homes temporarily until the animal is placed in its forever home. The final goal in our mission is the adoption of every fostered animal. Animals will only be placed in their forever homes when their potential adopters successfully pass the application process.

Meet Seargent Baxter, Animal Haus' rescue spokes-dog! The first year of Bax's life was filled with abuse, leaving him distrusting, anxious, and frightened. Adopted by Denny in 2017, he came to love his new home and life. Trained as a service dog, he is great at helping others as the center's therapy buddy. Though it seems Denny's simply being silly with her best friend, she has incorporated commands into their play and shaped Bax's behavior with routine and familiar actions.
